TERAMED, s.r.o. is a Czech research and technology company focused on advanced environmental research and the development of technologies for environmental protection. The company was founded in 2002 and specializes in applied research in the fields of geomicrobiology, hydrogeology, and the remediation of environmental contamination. The cornerstone of its activities is the development and implementation of remediation methods that utilize a combination of biological and chemical processes (so-called biological-abiotic approaches), which are effective in cleaning up groundwater and soil contaminated with, for example, chlorinated hydrocarbons or heavy metals.

The company operates its own testing and demonstration facility, HYDROGEOPARK, where research into new remediation technologies is conducted directly in the field. In addition to developing TERAMED remediation products, the company also offers laboratory and field analysis, the drilling of monitoring wells, hydrodynamic measurements, and the installation of automated systems for real-time water quality monitoring. The company also operates mobile laboratories equipped with glovebox systems for working with sensitive microorganisms and actively collaborates with research institutions and universities.
