DBH Technologies sro is a high-tech startup founded in 2016 by a group of scientists and engineers with extensive experience in the field of food technologies and applications. The company has developed a unique technology Carbon Dioxide Assisted Spray Nebulization Drying (CASND), which enables gentle and effective drying and encapsulation of biologically active or thermolabile substances - both lipophilic and proteinaceous.
It is mainly used in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
DBH also offers the development of new food product formulations (functional drinks, food supplements, smoothies, bars, yogurts or beer) through contract research. This activity is supported by research activities - the company solves stabilization, homogenization of immiscible phases and production of nanofibrous materials using centrifugal methods and CO₂ technology. DBH successfully draws a grant from the Horizon 2020 program for the design of a small-award device ISV013.
