EPS biotechnology, sro is a progressive Czech biotechnology company that has been combining research and development with practical applications in the field of environmental technologies, bioenergy and food industry since its establishment in 2002. The company operates a modernly equipped research center focused on microbial biomass, where fermentation processes, production of biopolymers (especially polyhydroxyalkanoates – PHA and exopolysaccharides – EPS), lyophilization, recycling of organic materials and testing of new biotechnologies are carried out.

It also focuses on remediation projects in the field of soil and water decontamination, where it uses bioaugmentation and biostimulation methods. Thanks to its technological background and expertise, it also offers contract development, laboratory services, analyses and ecological consultancy. The company has long been cooperating on national and international research projects and is one of the leading innovators in the field of bio-based technologies and circular economy.
