Kroměřížská nemocnice as, founded as a joint-stock company in 2005, continues the more than century-old tradition of a regional healthcare facility, originally as the Jubilee Hospital of Emperor Franz Joseph I (opened in 1910). Today, it provides a wide range of healthcare - from basic to specialized - including inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostics, intensive medicine, surgery, acute care and pharmacy services for the residents of Kroměříž, the wider region and, in some specializations, for the entire country. 

The hospital has a rich network of clinics and departments, including surgery, internal medicine, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology, pulmonary medicine, ophthalmology, rehabilitation and specialized centers such as oncology or central sterilization. In addition to healthcare, it is an important training center - it offers internships and accreditations for doctors or nurses and is involved in educational programs for medical staff. It also organizes professional events, such as Professional Days, and has been operating a Support Club for Caregivers since 2024.

The hospital is also an active institution in the field of public procurement and digitalization of care. It has an internal portal for patients, provides pharmacy emergency services, operates its own transport health service, plasmapheresis, hemodialysis and rapid diagnostics.
