Kuraray Europe Moravia s.r.o. is a subsidiary of the Japanese group Kuraray Europe GmbH, which has been operating on the Czech market since 1993 (originally under the name RETRIM – CZ). The company specializes in the production of high-performance polymer materials, particularly polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), used in industrial applications such as the food packaging industry, medicine, advanced film technologies, and the aerospace industry. Thanks to its integration into Kuraray’s European production chain, the company ensures stable supplies, high-quality materials, and certifications, including ISCC PLUS for sustainable products. 

The company utilizes advanced lithography, extrusion, and polymerization technologies and is part of the global Kuraray ecosystem, which manufactures products such as Trosifol® and SentryGlas® for safety glass, and KURARAY POVAL™ for specialty film applications. Kuraray Europe Moravia provides research support, develops new types of PVOH resins, and works closely with research teams in both Europe and Japan. It is significantly involved in research on biopolymers, recycling, and eco-friendly solutions, supported by global sustainability standards.
