Development of functionalized nanofiber filters for non-specific collection of particle and molecular residues

Provider: Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO)
Project duration: 1.1.2023 – 31.12.2023

The implementation of the project began in August 2023 and lasted until December 2023. Part of the eligible expenses was supported from the Operational Program Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness of the Innovation Vouchers call - call II.

The voucher aimed to create a simple, mobile and fast detection system for analyzing contamination, especially of textile materials. The system can also be used as a by-product to identify counterfeits of historical textiles and other alternative materials. The application of the above methods in the case of a larger subject implies that the technological units must be transported to the place of examination, which is economically and logistically demanding. The above solution will replace the complex and economically demanding bacterial and viral contamination of surfaces in the future, especially in the food and healthcare industries. At the same time, the developed product can be used to determine the age of old canvases, tapestries, carpets, period clothing, carpets or other similar textiles.
