NANOPROGRESS is a co-research partner in the National Competence Centre for Polymer Materials and Technologies for the 21st Century – PolyEnvi21 , which is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the National Competence Centres Programme.
The PolyEnvi21 Competence Centre focuses on the development of new polymer systems with an emphasis on sustainable development goals, practical applicability, and economic competitiveness. A key area of expertise of PolyEnvi21 lies in the mechanical, chemical, and biological recycling of polymer materials, including related downstream processes.
Significant attention is paid to a comprehensive approach to the developed solutions in line with the principles of the circular economy. The main goals of PolyEnvi21 include: - improving waste management practices with positive impacts on national climate and environmental targets, - enhancing material supply security and reducing dependency on raw materials imported from outside the EU, increasing business competitiveness, and reducing fossil fuel consumption.
