In 1995, it was transformed into a university and today comprises seven faculties (both technical and humanities) and a specialized Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies, and Innovation (CXI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TUL offers degree programs at the bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s, and doctoral levels in fields taught in both Czech and English\u2014particularly in the areas of textiles, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, economics, the humanities, and healthcare. It has established a strong reputation for its research in the application of materials, nanotechnology, and mechanical systems; it carries out over 100 grant-funded projects totaling approximately 3 million USD and collaborates closely with industry\u2014particularly in the glass, textile, and automotive sectors.\u202fThe university supports international exchange programs (e.g., dual-degree programs with the University of Huddersfield or Neisse University). Thanks to its size (approximately 7,000\u20139,000 students) and direct ties to the Liberec region, it plays a key role in the economic and scientific development of the region and all of Central
