The Faculty Hospital Kr\u00e1lovsk\u00e9 Vinohrady (FNKV) is one of the most important healthcare facilities in the Czech Republic. It provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care in more than twenty specialist clinics and institutes. Key areas include surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, burn medicine, oncology and radiotherapy. The hospital is also a centre for intensive medicine and emergency care. The FNKV serves not only the residents of the capital and Central Bohemia, but in some specialisations also patients from the entire Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important part of the hospital's activities is its role as a teaching and research institution. It cooperates primarily with the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, participates in undergraduate and postgraduate education of healthcare professionals and is involved in research projects and clinical studies. FNKV also develops modern healthcare technologies and the digitalization of healthcare. It holds a number of professional accreditations and certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
