The company was founded in 2002 and specializes in applied research in the field of geomicrobiology, hydrogeology and remediation of ecological burdens. The basic pillar of its activity is the development and implementation of remediation methods that use a combination of biological and chemical processes (so-called biological-abiotic approaches), which are effective in cleaning groundwater and soils contaminated, for example, with chlorinated hydrocarbons or heavy metals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has its own testing and demonstration area HYDROGEOPARK, where research into new remediation technologies is carried out directly in the field. In addition to the development of remediation products, TERAMED also offers laboratory and field analytics, drilling of monitoring wells, hydrodynamic measurements and installation of automated systems for real-time water quality monitoring.
