V roce 1995 se transformovala na univerzitu a dnes sdru\u017euje sedm fakult (technick\u00fdch i humanitn\u00edch) a specializovan\u00fd \u00dastav pro nanomateri\u00e1ly, pokro\u010dil\u00e9 technologie a inovace (CXI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TUL nab\u00edz\u00ed studijn\u00ed programy na bakal\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9, navazuj\u00edc\u00ed magistersk\u00e9 i doktorsk\u00e9 \u00farovni, v \u010desky i anglicky vyu\u010dovan\u00fdch oborech \u2013 zejm\u00e9na v oblastech textiln\u00edho, mechanick\u00e9ho, mechatronick\u00e9ho, ekonomick\u00e9ho, humanitn\u00edho i zdravotnick\u00e9ho zam\u011b\u0159en\u00ed\u202f. V\u00fdznamn\u011b se profiluje svou v\u00fdzkumnou \u010dinnost\u00ed v aplikaci materi\u00e1l\u016f, nanotechnologi\u00ed a strojn\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f, realizuje p\u0159es 100 grantov\u00fdch projekt\u016f za cca 3 miliony USD a \u00fazce spolupracuje s pr\u016fmyslem \u2013 zejm\u00e9na se skl\u00e1\u0159skou, textiln\u00ed a automobilovou v\u00fdrobou.\u202fUniverzita podporuje mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed v\u00fdm\u011bnn\u00e9 programy (nap\u0159. dvojstup\u0148ov\u00e9 studium s University of Huddersfield nebo Neisse University)\u202f. D\u00edky sv\u00e9 velikosti (cca 7\u20139\u202f000 student\u016f) a p\u0159\u00edm\u00e9mu propojen\u00ed s regionem Liberec hraje kl\u00ed\u010dovou roli v ekonomick\u00e9m i v\u011bdeck\u00e9m
