Je zn\u00e1m\u00e1 sv\u00fdm siln\u00fdm pr\u016fmyslov\u00fdm zam\u011b\u0159en\u00edm, zejm\u00e9na v oblasti v\u00fdroby polymern\u00edch materi\u00e1l\u016f a nanotechnologi\u00ed. UTB nab\u00edz\u00ed p\u0159es 200 studijn\u00edch program\u016f, zahrnuj\u00edc\u00edch chemii, technologii materi\u00e1l\u016f, informatiku, management i humanitn\u00ed obory, a vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1 a\u017e 10\u202f000 student\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Centrem v\u00fdzkumu UTB je Centrum polymern\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f (CPS) a \u00dastav in\u017een\u00fdrstv\u00ed polymer\u016f, kde se vyv\u00edjej\u00ed inovativn\u00ed materi\u00e1ly \u2014 kompozity s nanopl\u0148ky, inteligentn\u00ed polymery, hydrogele a dal\u0161\u00ed \u2013 s vyu\u017eit\u00edm modern\u00edch technologi\u00ed a pr\u016fmyslov\u00fdch robotick\u00fdch proces\u016f\u202f. Doktorsk\u00e9 studijn\u00ed programy, nap\u0159\u00edklad &#8222;Nanotechnologie a pokro\u010dil\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly&#8220;, p\u0159ipravuj\u00ed odborn\u00edky schopn\u00e9 prov\u00e1d\u011bt nez\u00e1visl\u00fd v\u00fdzkum, publikovat na mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed \u00farovni a uplatnit se v akademii i pr\u016fmyslu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UTB se aktivn\u011b zapojuje do transferu technologi\u00ed \u2013 d\u00edky Centru transferu technologi\u00ed (CTT) pom\u00e1h\u00e1 chr\u00e1nit a komercializovat du\u0161evn\u00ed vlastnictv\u00ed a spolupracuje s podniky na pilotn\u00edch projektech.
